Flexible Interiors
Column spacing and clearspan framing create wide-open, usable interior space.
As demand increased, the challenge was creating a facility capable of supporting multiple operational functions without sacrificing efficiency.
The project brought together service bays, tire storage and office space within one coordinated building, providing the flexibility needed to improve day-to-day operations while supporting future expansion and continued customer service.

Purcell Tire and Service Center
For companies that depend on service, storage and distribution working together, building design directly affects performance.
That reality shaped the development of the Purcell Tire & Service Center when it began in Utah. As the company expanded its operations, it needed a facility capable of supporting vehicle service, tire storage and administrative functions within a single coordinated environment.
Working with a Varco Pruden™ building solution, the project team developed a facility designed around efficiency and workflow. Rather than separating key business functions across multiple locations, the building brings them together under one roof, allowing employees to move more efficiently between service, inventory and office operations.
The facility includes dedicated service bays, warehouse space for tire storage and office areas that support customer service and business operations. Organizing these functions within one building helped create a more streamlined process while improving day-to-day productivity.
Service facilities place unique demands on a building. They require open operational space, clear circulation paths and the flexibility to accommodate changing business needs over time.
The Purcell Tire & Service Center was designed with those requirements in mind. Large-span structural systems create open interior areas that support vehicle movement, equipment access and inventory management without unnecessary obstructions. The result is a facility that works around the needs of the business rather than forcing the business to adapt to the building.
That approach reflects a core principle of the Varco Pruden process: understanding how a customer operates and developing solutions that support long-term success.
Today, the facility provides Purcell Tire with the space needed to serve customers efficiently while maintaining flexibility for future growth. By bringing service, storage and administration together within one coordinated building, the project delivers practical value through improved workflow, operational efficiency and adaptability.
The result is a facility designed not only for current operations but for the opportunities ahead.
