The project is comprised of two Varco Pruden metal buildings. The first building is for maintenance and welding. It is a high bay body shop facility designed for heavy military vehicles and equipment loads with exterior staging areas. The building was engineered to support two top-running 35-ton class D bridge cranes with a 93-foot span, supported by auxiliary columns.
The second building, a conventional administration building, has an SLR II™ Roof system on 4″ rigid insulation, ice water shielding, and a 20-year structural and weather tightness warranty. The building includes insulated metal panels on the building’s exterior with partial height masonry and a metal roof.
This welding and body shop repair facility was recognized as a Varco Pruden 2023 Hall of Fame winner in the Government category.
