The distillery, bottling visitors center was created using five building products from VP Command and one Conventional steel shape (Distillery tower (26’ x 33’ x 59’). The project features an extensive use of glass storefront and multiple types of stone/masonry finishes for the exterior walls. Three skylights were used to enhance natural lighting and reduce electrical demand. One of the primary challenges was providing the correct structural support to accommodate varying wall types and multiple roof heights. The building was designed with multiple levels of wind beams for walls along with special flashing details for roof tie-ins.
